Oftentimes, we are craving a moment with God more than we're craving a movement of God. However, in John 14, Jesus tells his disciples that "[He goes] to prepare a place for [them];" a place that lasts beyond our death on earth. What Jesus is preparing is an eternal home that will last forever. A home where we can be our truest selves. Of course, God uses big moments, but our spiritual lives were never meant to be sustained by big moments.
