On Wednesday night, we talked about obedience being more than a list of do’s and don’ts, but instead, an embrace of God’s purpose and intent for our lives. That obedience, especially when it’s costly and calls us to carry our cross, is one of the ways we worship God that He values most.

In its essence, worship is living our wholes lives in service to God, our King. One of the most important ways we can do that is by loving others. Jesus called this the second greatest commandment. As we do this, the songs of praise we offer with our lips are pleasing to Him when we sing.
