We say it during each celebration of Holy Communion: “Christ has died; Christ is risen; Christ will come again.” This simple phrase is not just a part of our ritual, but is our bold confession of hope! We have hope because of what Christ has already done. We have hope because Christ is currently resurrected. And we have hope because Christ will soon return to set the world right. This Sunday, we will celebrate the gift of Hope that God gave us at Christmas and reflect on how we are called to a living Hope today!
