This week at the 8:00 & 9:30 services, Pastor Ian walks us through one of the most scandalous texts in the New Testament - Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman at a well. Come find out why this story gives us a roadmap for our mission, and also a big reason to celebrate!

At 11:00, our Youth are leading service! This weekend our high schoolers (with adult volunteers) will be leading our Discovery Retreat for our middle schoolers. The theme this weekend is “Discovering Peace Through God”; Please pray for God to work through the youth and adult leaders and to establish peace in the lives of all who attend. The 11:00 service will be a Discovery takeover with youth serving as worship leaders, musicians, and our preacher! There will be no Mission Minded Kids (hands-on mission project) this week; kids are encouraged to stay in worship.

This Sunday we begin the holiest week of the year. In these days stretching from Palm Sunday to Easter we are confronted with the passionate love Jesus extends to us and we are invited to allow that love to resurrect us to new life. We invite you to set these days apart from the rest of the year by joining your church family in worship as we follow Jesus from Palm Sunday's triumphant entrance, to the Holy Thursday table, to the cross of Good Friday and the empty tomb of Easter. There are a variety of times and service types to help each family find a good fit for each encounter along the way. If you are traveling for Spring Break stay connected by worshiping on-line or find a local church in the town you are visiting. We look forward to sharing this Resurrection Season with you! The Scandal of Servanthood

Did you know that there is a right way and a wrong way to be a disciple? As Jesus approached his crucifixion, he was very concerned that the people he had selected to be apostles would lead his church in the right way. This week, we hear some of Christ’s final directions to his disciples & see the example he set for them as he faced down his own trial - gifts that we still receive today as our marching orders down our journey of faith.
