Carroll County & Baltimore County are the cradles of American Methodism! We inherit the legacy of some of the first Methodist preachers in America like Bishop Francis Asbury and Robert Strawbridge, including their struggle to balance the need to order & organize a fledgling church with the flexibility needed to adapt to new realities. This Sunday we are excited to continue our Who Are We? series by taking the early Methodist theology and history we have been learning and seeing where OUR spiritual ancestors - those Methodists in meetings and churches who would one day become Wesley Freedom - fit into it!
