This Sunday we celebrate Pentecost - the day in the Old Testament when Moses received the Law and in the New Testament when the Apostles received the power of the Holy Spirit! Together we will call on the Holy Spirit to give us the same power that these first members of the Church experienced: steadfastness in our faith, boldness to testify to Christ, and clear guidance on how to live our lives.
At the 11:00 service, we will also celebrate the Confirmation of 30 young people as they profess their commitment to Christ and are sealed by the Spirit as members of Christ’s Holy Church.
