Wellspring AWANA

Sunday Evenings | 4:45-6:15PM Meets at JENISON JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL In addition to Sunday mornings, Wellspring Church offers Awana as additional programming with the intent of further spiritual growth for kids. Here, we stay committed on kids FINDING JESUS, but also going deeper in the development of kids faith and discipleship through Scripture Memorization, community and fun. AGES: Cubbies: (Age 4 by October 1 thru kids not yet in kindergarten) Sparks: (Kindergarten thru 2nd Grade) T & T: (3rd Grade thru 4th Grade)

BaseFiveSix Youth

*John 15:5 – “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."* Our 5th/6th grade ministry is called BASEFIVESIX because we believe that student need a solid foundation, or BASE, that is built on Jesus Christ and their need to connect into Him. As students begin the transition from childhood into adolescence, BASEFIVESIX works to connect kids to Christ. During Sunday evenings, students will spend time reviewing the key content of the Sunday morning sermon, digging into scripture together and praying with and for one another. At the end of each student’s time in BASEFIVESIX, the goal is that they remain in Christ, remembering that apart from him they cannot grow.

Vertical Youth

*James 1:25 - "But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do."* In VERTICAL, 7th and 8th grade students build upon their BASE and begin applying what they have learned. We equip students on the mission God has called us all to by challenging them to stand up, get vertical and begin living it out in their daily lives. Our weekly meetings include a study of the scriptures and practical instruction on how they can relate it to their lives. Our goal is that when students leave VERTICAL, they will have matured in their faith, feeling prepared for the new challenges of young adulthood.

United Youth

UNITED desires to be a community where students find their place. In a world that seeks to define people by outward appearance, United is committed to looking beyond the surface and to see the heart. It doesn’t matter where you have come from, what you have done or where you are now, God has a place for you here at UNITED. We exist to unite students to Christ, and to be united in the mission of Christ as we grow together in Him as the church.

Life Groups

WELLSPRING'S COVID-19 RESPONSE AND LIFE GROUPS: Due to the sweeping new social distancing recommendations given recently by state and federal government officials, Wellspring life groups are currently encouraged to find a way to connect as a group from a digital platform. Marriage Mentoring

This ministry is, in essence, a happy, content, more-experienced couple purposefully investing in another couple using Biblical principles to effectively navigate a journey that they have already taken. We are excited to offer the people of Wellspring Church a Marriage Mentoring relationship opportunity for married couples or engaged to-be-married couples in our congregation. A Marriage Mentor is a more experienced and trained couple equipped and desirous to disciple a couple that may be experiencing life and relationship challenges. Missions

The world is desperate for the Savior, and Wellspring Church is called to participate in fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19) by spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ around the corner and across the globe. This is exciting work, something we want every person who calls Wellspring their home church to participate in. To that end, we aim to provide opportunities for our congregation to strengthen their walk with Christ by actively participating in mission work locally and globally, through finances, prayer and service. #GET INVOLVED ###*PRAYER* Those who spread the message of the gospel of Jesus Christ are in desperate need of prayer, for open doors, God's guidance and protection, boldness of witness and much more. ##*LOCAL OUTREACH* The Great Commission is as important locally as it is globally. And we believe that developing relationships in our neighborhoods and our communities opens the door for sharing the Gospel. *"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth." Child Dedication

*“Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one’s youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver with them! He shall not be put to shame when he speaks with his enemies in the gate.” —Psalm 127:3-5* Children are a gift from God, and Wellspring Church is thrilled to partner with and be a resource to parents who would like to dedicate the raising of their children to Jesus Christ. We believe that the act of child dedication is a public commitment of accountability parents make before God, their family and the church. A child dedication service gives parents an opportunity to publicly express their desire to lead a Godly home that spiritually nurtures children to grow in maturity and knowledge of Jesus Christ, as well as cultivates a desire to love and serve God and people. This service is also a a commitment by the Wellspring Church family to pray for, support and come alongside these families in a time of need.

Disc Golf

The Wellspring Disc Golf course is open now, and anyone is welcome to come play on it at no cost as the weather allows. You can find us on Bauer Road in Hudsonville just east of Griff's Georgetown Ice Center. Our course was designed by PDGA Champion Jim Schultz. It is designed to be enjoyable and challenging for discers of all skill levels. Please be sure any discs are labeled with your contact information. While we cannot be responsible for lost discs, we will do our best to return any we find. Please be respectful of the grounds and of our neighbors. Wellspring Church now has access to an extensive, new video library called RightNow Media! It’s like the "Netflix of Video Bible Studies" and has a HUGE library of faith-based videos that you can access whenever and wherever you want—on your phone, iPad, computer, or at home on your TV. At Wellspring, our vision is to “Glorify God by Making Disciples of Jesus Christ.” Therefore, we’re always looking for ways to help you develop and strengthen your faith. 2020 Core Values Series

This September, we take a closer look at the four core values we espouse that help us carry out our vision of "Glorifying God by Making Disciples of Jesus Christ." Over the course of four weeks, we will look at God's word and there we discover the foundations of what we believe God specifically has called Wellspring Church to in order to be His hands and feet to each other, to our community and to the world.
