The Bible makes clear that sin is a devastating disease and can cause irreparable harm. We see sin confronted in such a way that may seem drastic to us throughout Scripture. There are also times when God confronts sin in our own lives in a drastic way. These moments can change the trajectory of our lives—for better or for worse.
