"Be careful," Jesus says in Matthew 16. He knew that his disciples walked dangerously close to overlooking their spiritual well-being to focus on their physical needs. Do we really trust the sovereignty of God to take care of us? Why would God want us to be careful in regard to our spiritual growth?
