We call today “Good Friday.” Not because we find joy in the fact that Jesus suffered and died, but rather because we recognize the incredible blessing of salvation that we received as a result. We recognize the good that happened as a result of the tragic event that day, over 2000 years ago. You are welcome to observe Christ's act of ultimate sacrifice with us, and prepare your hearts for what's coming Sunday...

Countering Idolatry with the Gospel

As Paul continues to share the gospel in Athens, he encounters an alter inscribed with "TO AN UNKNOWN GOD." Seems silly to not know what or who you are worshiping, doesn't it? But Paul used this situation to share who God is to a people who did not know him. Will we be people bold with the Gospel, and able to share Christ in any circumstance?
