Confusing Cleanliness

Clean and unclean are two common terms we see God use throughout the Bible. These terms are used to describe places, animals, objects, and even people. God calls his people to discern what is clean and unclean. But what happens when we get it wrong and mislabel people? The Pharisees in the NT were confident that they were right, but were they? How do we avoid falling into the same trap and being guilty of spreading what the Bible calls “The yeast of the Pharisees?”

Forgiveness

A servant is forgiven a massive debt but refuses to show mercy to a fellow servant with a smaller debt. The master condemns the unforgiving servant's lack of compassion, emphasizing the need to forgive as we've been forgiven. Does our compassion reflect the degree to which we've been forgiven?
