BaseFiveSix Youth

*John 15:5 – “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing."* Our 5th/6th grade ministry is called BASEFIVESIX because we believe that student need a solid foundation, or BASE, that is built on Jesus Christ and their need to connect into Him. As students begin the transition from childhood into adolescence, BASEFIVESIX works to connect kids to Christ. During Sunday evenings, students will spend time reviewing the key content of the Sunday morning sermon, digging into scripture together and praying with and for one another. At the end of each student’s time in BASEFIVESIX, the goal is that they remain in Christ, remembering that apart from him they cannot grow.

Vertical Youth

*James 1:25 - "But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do."* In VERTICAL, 7th and 8th grade students build upon their BASE and begin applying what they have learned. We equip students on the mission God has called us all to by challenging them to stand up, get vertical and begin living it out in their daily lives. Our weekly meetings include a study of the scriptures and practical instruction on how they can relate it to their lives. Our goal is that when students leave VERTICAL, they will have matured in their faith, feeling prepared for the new challenges of young adulthood.
