We’ve been learning a lot about God’s rescue plan and how God worked in different people’s lives to eventually send Jesus. He made a promise to Abraham that he would be the father of a great nation. Isaac was born and when God told Abraham to offer his son as a sacrifice, it was God Himself who provided the needed sacrifice. Last week we learned about Isaac’s son Jacob, and how God’s promise continued through him. This week, we will learn what happened when Jacob favored one of his sons more than the others.
