Just Decide

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.” Romans 12:2 "Jesus GREW in wisdom, stature and in favor with the Lord and people.” Luke 2:25   Why decisions are a big stress factor in our day.  1. We have too many decisions. 2. We are afraid of making a wrong decision. “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.” Romans 8:28 Ways to decrease the stress in decision-making. 1. To decrease stress increase margin.  2. To decrease stress, trust your renewed mind. “Rejoice always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18   “Can anyone of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” Matthew 6:27

Redemption provided by the Son, v. 7-12 A. redeemed B. forgiven Romans 5:9, “Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!” III. Redemption protected by the Holy Spirit, v. 13-14 Mark 16:16, “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” John 3:36, “whoever believes in the Son has eternal life.”

Psalm 43:5a, “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.” The God of peace will give you the peace of God. 1. Choose Joy. “I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. I can do all this through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:12-13 2. Give God your anxiety. “Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.” 1 Peter 5:7 Prayer of Thanksgiving Prayer of Petition 3.
