In Mark 13, we see three key instructions from Jesus to those living in the last days: 1. Believers in the last days are on guard (v.1-23) a. Are on guard against the deceit of fake news (v.5-8) b. Are on guard and ready for persecution (v.9-13) c. Are on guard against abominations (v.14-20) d. Are on guard against false shepherds (v.21-23) 2. Believers living in the last days trust only in the words of Christ (v.24-31) 3. Believers living in the last days stay awake (v.32-37) “They profess to know God, but they deny him by their works. They are detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work.” Titus 1:16
