Know God - The Plan. The Life. The Mission.

Living in the Culture of God's Kingdom • September 16, 2018 • Shane Schlesman

If the church is to be Christ's body and a reflection and extension of His love, then believers must live in the culture of God's Kingdom. That starts with knowing Him ... His plan for us, His life for us, and His mission for us. A mission that we can choose to be a part of or in the way of. Lead Pastor Shane Schlesman describes this shock to the world's culture, and even the Church's, as he prepares the audience for a monthly recurring discipleship training series, called Growth Track. Be inspired to Know God like you've never known Him before by joining a class on the first Sunday of every month at 11:30a ET. What is your purpose? Your primary purpose on Earth is to be focused in one area with eternal impact. What is that focus? Why is it is so important to ourselves and others? And, how do we fulfill our purpose? Watch, re-watch, and share with all this final installment in this four-part series on the brevity of our lives ... mist. #sermon #series #mist #life #purpose #choices #distractions #peace #trust #God #meaning #lifestyle #productivity #rva #weag #richmond

Just Say NO!

your life is but a mist - part three • September 2, 2018 • Shane Schlesman

God’s peace is on the other side of our trust! But, the things we say yes to can easily get in the way of His peace. Much of what we think we just gotta have is probably not what we need. We have permission, and even a necessity, to say no to distractions that fill our time and lead us astray because Jesus knows what we really need. When we instead say Yes to God's eternal priorities the blessings of burdens being lifted will make it even easier to just say no to everything else. Share in the comments what you just gotta have that you're willing to let go of and say no to ... that you'll trust God in delivering the peace you seek. #sermon #series #mist #life #purpose #choices #distractions #peace #trust #God #meaning #lifestyle #productivity #rva #weag #richmond
