Psalm 57

Psalm 57

“My heart is steadfast, O God, my heart is steadfast” (Psalm 57:7). Written by David when “when he fled from Saul, in the cave,” Psalm 57 seeks not just deliverance but ultimately to see the manifestation of God’s glory over all the earth.

To sing Psalm 57 we set lyrics by David Preston (©David Preston/Jubilate Hymns) to an original melody.

This recording features Andrea Sandefur on vocals, Joel Stamoolis on guitar and vocals, Anne-Renee Gumley on piano and vocals, Naomi Stamoolis on English horn, Ruth Schwartz on cello, Heath Hassen on bass guitar, and Thomas Doak on drums.
