Psalm 47 calls all peoples, all nations to sing to the LORD, for the LORD God is "King of all the earth" (Psalm 47:7). God chose Jacob as his heritage, so that through them all nations may be blessed, may be "the people of the God of Abraham" (Psalm 47:9)
To sing Psalm 47 we wrote an original paraphrase to a traditional Zulu melody.
This recording features Joel Stamoolis on vocals and guitar, Willy Shelton and Elizabeth Rodgers on vocals, Dale Tumey on tenor saxophone, John Rodgers on electric guitar, Anne-Renee Gumley on piano, Heath Hassen on bass guitar, and Igor Galloway on drums.
