Psalm 78 is a wisdom psalm, telling the story of Israel repeatedly turning away from God and God answering to their sin with greater grace. The psalm ends with God giving his wandering people David, a king who is also a shepherd, pointing us ultimately to Jesus, the perfect shepherd King.

Psalm 119 is an acrostic prayer song celebrating God's word. Psalm 119 was written as 22 eight verse stanzas, one for each of the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet.
