In and through the person of Jesus, God’s King, the Kingdom of God approached the towns and villages along the road to Jerusalem. It was dark territory long held captive in Satan’s cosmic rebellion against God’s rule. Seventy-two messengers were sent ahead into the darkness to announce the Kings approach. Luke 10 is their story.
