Psalm 93 praise the LORD who reigns over all creation, highlighting his power over the flood waters and the seas. When Jesus calms the sea (Matthew 8:23–27, Mark 4:35–41, Luke 8:22–25) his disciples are afraid. For Jesus does what only the LORD God of Psalm 93 can do.
To sing this psalm we set lyrics from Sing Psalms (©2003 Free Church of Scotland) to the melody "Coronation" ("All Hail the Power of Jesus' Name) by Oliver Holden (1793).
