Part 7 THE FINAL
Through this module, you have been studying the Royal Priesthood on the way to earning your purple Belt. one of the biggest challenges we face in today’s world is identity. We ALL occasionally wrestle with the question of who we really are. We all want to discover ourselves in this journey we call life. But what if I told you God has already discovered who you are? He made you, even before time began he knew you. Read Psalm 139 if you need a reminder! God knows who we are despite what our feelings or sinful flesh may tell us. In fact, we are renewed in Christ! 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us that if anyone is in Christ, they are a new person — the old is gone, and the new has come. They have a whole new identity, our Identity is that of royalty with a priestly duty to display God’s glory, and intercede through sacrifice and prayer. Check out these questions and scriptures to reflect on: 1. Read Ephesians 2:1-3. What does this passage say about what is true of us before we know Christ? In what way can you relate to this? 2. Read Ephesians 2:4-10. What does this passage say happens to us after we come to know Christ? 3. In verse 10, how does God describe us and His purpose for us? 4. What does it mean to you that God thinks of you as a masterpiece? 5. Read Ezekiel 36:25-27. What are some changes that happen when we come to know God? 6. Read 2 Corinthians 5:21. What does this passage say? Now given what you’ve learned about God, Humanity, and how we are to live our lives through this entire purple belt (Royal Belt) Study, Write an essay answering the following Question: What is the Christian Identity and how does God’s Word shape who you are?
