Continuing in our study, "It's ok to not be ok", we learned how our suffering has a purpose in Christ. It is inevitable that we are going to meet trials of various kinds (James 1:2-4). However, we know that Christ is with us to provide comfort and joy through the suffering that we encounter. Romans 8 speaks of our suffering in light of Christ and the future glory that Christ is preparing for all of creation. Therefore, we know that God loves us. The love that we are constantly yearning for is found through Christ. Therefore, I want to encourage you parents to create a safe space for your students to be vulnerable and to learn to navigate through the hardships in light of the Hope that Christ provides us.
