Rahab: Redeemed, Renewed & Restored

Shero: Week 3

November 17, 2024 • Pastor Jerome Gay Jr. • Joshua 2—6

Here are few aspect of the message to meditate on this week:

- God's redeeming love is more powerful than the depth and darkness of our sin. No matter our past, God can use us for His divine purpose when we submit to Him.

- Faith in action can lead to extraordinary outcomes. Rahab's decision to protect the Israelite spies, rooted in her belief in God's power, not only saved her and her family but also placed her in the lineage of Jesus Christ.

- The "scarlet cord" in Rahab's story symbolizes the blood of Christ and God's mercy, reminding us that our salvation comes through faith in God's promises, not our own merits.
