This is a week where you get an opportunity to serve our community throughout the week. It's one of the most impactful weeks of the year, and it is a tangible way to be the hands and feet of Jesus.
In the registration, you will be able to pick the events you want to serve at. Our goal is for every person in our church to serve in at least one event. FOR919 gives YOU an opportunity to meet people at Vision and serve with them and your family.
Here are our events for this year!
Monday -
10 am - Prayer Walk around the church and neighborhoods
3-7pm - Dinner at the Park - blessings families with snacks, games, and prayer
3-5pm - Hilltop Home - Sing songs with kids, cleaning, landscaping. Give Krispy Kreme and fruit tray to staff.
5-7pm - House of Hope - Cookout and provide meals
Tuesday - Vision is sponsoring the meal for our homeless community and partnering to provide an entire night of church with worship, message, and prayer. Partner with us to engage and love on our neighbors!
3pm - Riding in vans to invite homeless members to Raleigh Dream Center
4pm - Prep, cook, and serve the meal
5:15pm - Table hosts will sit with a group of people and engage in conversations, love, and prayer!
5:15pm - Raleigh Dream Center Kid's Ministry
Wednesday -
9am - Pack homeless bag & deliver to Moore Square
9am - With Love From Jesus - Sort donations and stock shelves
3-6pm - Wakemed ICU - Deliver snacks, and magazines filled with prayer cards
6:30 - OCC Packing Party - The whole church is welcome to pack Operation Christmas Child Boxes!
Thursday -
Our Senior Lifegroup will be Delivering lunches to Vision shut-ins
9am-12:45pm - With Love From Jesus - Sort donations and stock shelves
5:45pm - Backpack Buddies - Inventory and Sorting event. See the backend of the operations.
6pm - Bingo Night - Provide a Bingo night, snacks, conversations, and prayer at Verena Senior Living
Friday -
7 am - Breakfast for Teachers - provide a meal for local school teachers
9:30-11:30 - RDC Mobile Food Pantry - putting food out on tables for people to come by and get
2-5pm - RDC Food Warehouse - help box food to be given out
3pm-6pm - Blood Drive
7pm - Night of Worship - celebrate the week in the best way possible, worship!
