January 5, 2025 • Mark Helvadjian • Philippians 1:9–11, Philippians 3
As we step into a new year, we often set goals, but have you considered what your
ultimate goal is? In this talk, we explore Paul’s words in Philippians 3, where he likens the
Christian life to a race. He urges us to press on toward the ultimate prize—knowing Christ.
The race is set by God, requiring perseverance, focus, and faithfulness. Our reward is not
earthly success but the eternal joy of hearing, “Well done, my good and faithful servant.”
This year, let’s run with purpose, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the true prize.
