We are currently doing a series called Passover to Pentecost, exploring the events which happened after Jesus' resurrection.

Today the children will learn that after Jesus' ascension the disciples received the gift of the Holy Spirit while they celebrated the feast of Shavuot, a celebration remembering and thanking God for the wheat harvest and for giving them the Torah on Mount Sinai. The children will thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit in their lives and will welcome the Holy Spirit to touch a broken world through them with God's love.
