Believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are uniquely created to thrive in otherwise unfavorable circumstances. It is because light cannot be overcome by darkness (Jn. 1:5). So, even though many try to portray Christians as weak defeatists, believers are a powerful force empowered by God that cannot be overcome. The Bible teaches us the gates of hell cannot hold back the forceful advance of the kingdom of God and anything propagated contrary to this truth is an untruth.
