Sometimes we must admit we do not know what is doing on around us. We feel like a horse that has been blindfolded to lead it out of a burning barn. That horse must have a lot of confidence in the quiet, assuring voice of the handler. Do you trust in God that way? Do you hear His assuring voice, or do you make too much noise? I want to share some things I have learned that have helped me navigate uncertainty much more confidently.

It is common to hear people misuse the name of God. It can be nonchalance, foolishness or wickedness. In any case, it is based on ignorance of the position of esteem this name holds. Important to emotionally healthy spirituality is the concept of fatherhood we embrace. Not only is this concept that starts with Father God taught throughout the scriptures, but Jesus taught an approach to God and modeled a relationship with God that is centered around the loving father belief. When we grow in this, we develop more emotionally healthy relationships as a result. The ultimate goal is for us to embrace God as Father and to model His love to those in our spheres of influence.
