The Power of Prayer

How often have you heard someone say, “We can only pray”? It sounds like since all else has failed, we might as well resign to prayer. The Bible teaches something radically different. It teaches prayer is our first option and does not need to be a sign of resignation but expectation. In fact, we would save a lot of time, stress, and brain power if we started with prayer and let God do the heavy lifting!

Resilient Leadership in Turbulent Times

Leadership is required for everything in life – family, career, faith and social circles. A resilient leader is a spouse, a parent, a faith-influencer, a co-worker, a friend, etc., who sees failures, challenges or calamity as only temporary setbacks they can recover from quickly. They maintain a positive attitude and a strong sense of opportunity during periods of turbulence. When faced with uncertain times, a resilient leader finds ways to move themselves, and those they are responsible for, forward while communicating a reassuring outcome. We are each given leadership responsibility in given circles, so let’s discuss it together.
