The fear of the Lord is a deep and reverential sense of accountability to God or the Lord Jesus Christ. Many in the Body of Christ have preached this as reverence and honor for God not be afraid of God, which is true. It is a deep respect honor to the creator of all things, and yes God does not want you to be afraid of Him to where you run from Him instead of running to Him when you mess up. But there is a terror, a stand at attention feeling or a whoa factor, a healthy fear that makes you humble yourself and bow down to Him in honor and worship because He is Holy.

For the sake of understanding the “church” language, what I mean by praying in the Holy Ghost is praying in tongues. I believe that is what the writers of the bible meant when they wrote it. The baptism of the Holy Spirit was the distinguishing sign of the first century church. I want to say if you are in this room and you have given your life to the Lord Jesus and never prayed in tongues or gave a message in tongues, you have the Holy Spirit. There is a difference between having Holy Spirit because if you do not have Holy Spirit than you are not part of Christ. But there is a difference between being filled with Holy Spirit and being sealed with Holy Spirit.

Just to recap from the last episode to launch us forward today. We see Paul encouraging the church of Ephesus to be strong in the Lord and the power of His might, and then tells them that their warfare is not against flesh and blood, our fight is not against people, but principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this age and spiritual host of wickedness in the heavenly places. Paul list different types devils here, and it shows there are ranks in the demonic kingdom. We will not go over that because I want the focus today to be on how to overcome them. But we briefly touched on what a principality is, and there assignment, and we touch on the three principalities that is trying to influence and take down America, which are the same that Ancient Israel struggled with, which are baal, ashtaroth, and molech.

The first thing to receive a fresh grace is make up your mind that you will never quit NO MATTER WHAT! Something I found to be true in my own story is not to allow a victim mentality to set in, but a victory mentality. I don’t deny that the turbulence is taking place, I don’t ignore it I just don’t make it my focus. I don’t let it dominate my first place, first place belongs to the Lord.

This is a subject you don’t hear often taught to the body of Christ at large. Maybe one of the reasons could be many don’t embrace the prophetic because they think it was done away with when the apostle John died or when the cannon of scripture was finalized. Which is error concerning scripture. I want to ensure you that in 2024 there are still real prophets in the body of Christ and the gift of prophecy is still for today. Because God still speaks today, and His Word is alive, not dead — and because His Word tells us this.
