Salvation is free, but following the Lord Jesus will cost you everything. The Lord Jesus gave the charge to pick up the cross and follow Him, but many do not consider what this really means when they commit to following the Lord. There is a price to follow the Lord Jesus, because the Lord paid the ultimate price --His life. He gave His life for us so that we would experience eternal life through Him.
