Jesus said that the church on earth (and the believers in it) would exist on earth for the sole purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission, where Jesus said "Go therefore, and make disciples of all nations..." But the question is, has the church in America been accomplishing that? Have we been succeeding? Statistics seem to point to the sobering reality that the church has been more focused on "making attenders" rather than "making disciples."
