What is God’s goal? What is God asking of us as parents?
I am a sinner trying to lead another sinner to the cross.
Parenting is unfinished people (parents) being used of God as agents of transformation in the lives of unfinished people (kids).
Everything in the world wants us to focus on it more than God.
Based on my current parenting, who will my kids become?
As a Child of God, how can I parent “God’s” kids as He would?

Our job as parents is to shepherd them back to God and help them develop a proper heart posture in their relationship with Him.
My IDENTITY IN CHRIST means I am LOVED, I am CHOSEN, I am FORGIVEN, I am REDEEMED, I am ADOPTED into God’s Family!
Reflect on your own relationship with God
If you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, he wants to wash away the old and make you a new creation! He wants to welcome you as an adopted child of God’s own family.
If you have a relationship with Jesus, are you prioritizing that identity above all else? Can you identify one area of your life that God is leading you to submit to him?
