Some of the most wonderful people who have ever lived on the face of the earth, people with the greatest character, did not have a lot of common sense about money. Some of the nastiest, most ridiculously messed up people on the inside were incredibly good about managing money. Jonathan Edwards Money comes to us and says, “Without the messiness of the relationship, I can do that for you.” First thing we have to know: We are NOT God. Second thing we have to know: We are children of God. What can I do today to start reminding myself I’m a child of God, saved by grace? How will I commit to investing in the Kingdom of God and things that last?
