Forgiveness In Marriage

Titus 3:3-7 (ESV) 3 For we ourselves were once foolish, disobedient, led astray, slaves to various passions and pleasures, passing our days in malice and envy, hated by others and hating one another. 4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life. Romans 5:8 8 But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. 1 John 1:9 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. Ephesians 5:21-25 21 Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. 22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior. 24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything. 25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her Psalm 103:10-12 10 he does not treat us as our sins deserve   or repay us according to our iniquities. 11 For as high as the heavens are above the earth,   so great is his love for those who fear him; 12 as far as the east is from the west,   so far has he removed our transgressions from us.
