This is the day that we celebrate the Triune nature of the One True God whom we serve. This week we will spend some time looking at what the Scripture has to teach us about the questions that we were left with from last week’s text, in light of all that has happened recently: “To whom and how can we share the stories of where we have seen God at work in our lives? Like on Pentecost, how can we work to bring unity and grow understanding in a world where we are different and diverse? And how can we share the stories of how God continues to live out his covenant faithfulness to His people?” A few notes on events discussed in the service (email the Church Office for ZOOM links): We will share communion together today at 2:00 pm on ZOOM. We invite you to bring with your bread and cup with you (while grape juice is preferred, any similar liquid will do), so that our offerings can be consecrated together. "Just Mercy” – Movie and Discussion – Sponsored by the Missions Team – “Just Mercy,” a new movie based on the experiences of Bryan Stevenson and his work as an attorney with the Equal Justice Initiative http://(https://eji.org/), described in his book of the same name, is available for free during the month of June (see https://www.justmercyfilm.com for information about availability on various digital platforms and some background on the film and book). You are invited to view the movie this week and then join in a ZOOM discussion (you can bring your dinner along, if you choose!) at 6:30 pm on Friday.
