Continuing Resolution: Obamacare in Jeopardy

Unless stopped by Congress, in just a few short days Obamacare will start registering people across the country in exchanges for major implementation in January of 2014. This will change healthcare as we know it in the United States. Despite how good we're told this will be for the country, politicians have received exemptions and specialized treatment, Labor unions have come out in recent days in great opposition to it and there have been key legislators in the Democratic Party that have warned of a “train wreck”. There's a fight looming in Washington on something called a continuing resolution which is to provide funding for the federal government for weeks to come.

Ray Comfort explained that at one point he wanted to produce a video regarding famous atheists. He began by e-mailing 20 different scientists. He managed to get 4 on camera and after looking at the footage he knew he had to change the name of the project because what he recorded dealt a lot with evolution and the fact that it's completely bogus science. The result was the 36 minute movie titled, 'Evolution vs. God'.

Jim Schneider opened with news that when Obamacare passed in March of 2010, the administration published in the federal register 109 final regulations governing how Obamacare would be implemented. It adds up to 10,516 pages in the federal register or more than 8 times as many pages as those in the Gutenberg Bible. This means that so far the Obamacare regulations amount to approximately 10 million 516 thousand words and it isn't finished yet.

Persecution Escalates in the Middle East

Jerry Dykstra noted that wherever you go in the Middle East, Christians are not only victims of random violence, there is also the targeting of Christians for simply being Christian. In the case of Egypt this is often due to people taking out their frustrations because of the removal of Mohamed Morsi. It has taken the form of Christian businesses being targeted, Christians losing their jobs and income and churches being burned down.
