Sabbath Worship Service | "Jesus' Wonder Years"

December 30, 2023 • Pastor Jonathan Henderson

Ever wonder what Jesus’ life was like from the manger until his baptism? The Bible gives us 30 seconds of it and it’s probably not the most flattering 30 seconds. From scripture alone, how can we know how Jesus lived His life? Was He a likable kid, or just a “know it all” in the classroom? If we believe Jesus main mission to Earth was to minister to people and die for them (which took approximately three years), why spend roughly 30 years that is seemingly not worth documenting?

This Sabbath we unpack a couple of verses that shed light on “The Wonder Years” of Jesus, to see what can inspire us heading into a new year of possibilities and resolutions.

Sabbath Worship Service | "No More Room"

December 2, 2023 • Pastor Jonathan Henderson • Luke

"No More Room" “No more room!” This is what Jesus’ parents, Mary and Joseph, heard the night of His birth. How could this be? Is “O Little Town of Bethlehem” the most inhospitable town of all-time?? What if I told you this is one of the most misunderstood Christmas narratives? A closer examination of this scenario will lead us to a closer examination of God and us, and God in us. Don’t miss out as we begin our seasonal messages of the first advent.
