Two things that are consistent this time of year. One, you’re going to hear a lot about the birth of a Savior. Two, there will be over two dozen Christmas Hallmark movies with the exact same plot, familiar small-town backdrop, and bad acting (okay, maybe that wasn’t nice to say).

What if I told you the first Christmas story was every bit of a classic Hallmark movie, without the bad acting? (Okay, I’ll leave the acting alone.) In fact, I’m willing to say the original Christmas story may be the hallmark of the gospel.

Join us this Sabbath as we go to a small town called Bethlehem for our message, Hallmark Gospel.

was LIVE! The Cerna Siblings & Vallejo Drive Worship Team | Christmas Concert

We are thrilled to share this special Christmas Concert: "WE SING GLORIA!" by The Cerna Siblings, which took place at the Vallejo Drive Church on Sabbath, December 7, 2024 at 6pm! This event was an evening filled with uplifting music, worship, fellowship with Vallejo Drive's Worship Team, live instrumentation, special guests, and musicians, many of them from our own church. Our own Marcus Desir led the Vallejo Drive Worship Singers in accompanying some of the big choral selections and our worship leader, Earl Canson, led the entire congregation in a season of Silent Night! We were thrilled and blessed to have world renowned vocal coach, musician and singer Stevie Mackey culminate this musical journey with his rendition of O Holy Night which led us all to that starry night when our Savior was born. As you watch "WE SING GLORIA!" we invite you to experience this musical celebration of the birth of Jesus this Christmas season. Merry Christmas!

Though this time of year is the majority of people's favorite time of year, there are many who do not share the same sentiment. Daylight savings, colder weather, and loneliness can all amount to what is called "holiday blues." As joyous as this time can be for believers, we can't mask that we also can struggle during this time of year. Join us as we discover ways we can beat the holiday blues with Heaven's blueprint.

As we settle back into our regular routine coming back from our successful Centennial Celebration, and what I hope was a safe and blessed Thanksgiving holiday for you, I want to turn to well-known message found in Revelation 3. Jesus posits Himself as a guest of a home whose residents are practicing the art of lukewarming. I think I just made up that word, but the lesson Jesus wants us to get, however, is not made up.
