Sabbath Worship Service | Next, Now, New: "Windfall"

March 9, 2024 • Terry Benson, Assoc. Pastor • Ephesians 1:18–19

What would you do if you won $10 million or if you discovered a treasure of gold bars? Would you spend it, invest it, hide it? Maybe quit your job and go on a worldwide cruise?

This Sabbath we recount a story about four disease-ridden outcasts who come upon the greatest windfall of their lives. How they handled their unexpected wealth can reveal something to us about the extravagant value of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Join us at 11:00 Sabbath morning for a great worship time and a good story about good news.

Sabbath Worship Experience | This Is Our Story

April 27, 2024 • Ben Garcia, Associate Pastor

When reading any story details matter, setting, characters, conflict, climax, narration, and even the unexpected plot twist, which draws us further into the narrative.  Combining all these elements reveal a central message, a theme that tells the reader what the story is ultimately about; we approach reading the Bible similarly. There is beauty in admiring the texture and details of a tree, but the view of the forest is an inspiring panoramic perspective. Join us this Sabbath as we rediscover that big picture story found in Scripture, the need of a Savior.

Sabbath Worship Experience | Attached Part 3

April 20, 2024 • Pastor Jonathan Henderson

As we come to the final message of the series on attachment, what have you learned about your particular attachment style? Is it one of the multiple types of insecure attachment styles? If so, how do you see it play out in your relationship with God? This week we discover what we must do to have a secure attachment with God by looking at how Boaz approaches his relationship with Ruth. Make sure not to miss out!

Sabbath Worship Experience | Attached Part 2

April 13, 2024 • Pastor Jonathan Henderson

Last week we explored the science of how we attach to caregivers—first with our parents, later in our adult relationships, and eventually with God. We specifically focused on the “avoidant” attachment style. This week, however, we’ll be focused on the “anxious” attachment style. Whereas avoidants will avoid feelings and vulnerability out of fear of being rejected, anxious attachment will have you all in your feels, all the time. Does this sound more like you? Join us this week as we continue through the book of Ruth in search of the healthiest attachment style with others and with God.
