Called To Belong To Jesus

When Paul describes what it means to have an identity in Christ, he does not put the emphasis first on what we do. He puts it on what is done to us and for us, just as he did in describing his own identity as a slave, apostle, and servant of the gospel. 

The Obedience Of Faith

Good News

Jesus is the Messianic king. He is reigning now over the world. He is putting all His enemies under His feet. There will come a day when he breaks out of his invisible rule with visible glory and He will establish His kingdom openly on the earth. That is what Paul means by “Son of God in power” He is ruling now. He is working His purposes out through His Spirit and His church.

A Pharisee Who Hated Christ Followers
