Through the transgression of Adam, sin entered the world and so all creation fell under its curse and all men fell under condemnation. Through the death and resurrection of Jesus, the New Adam, grace freely abounds to those who would receive Him by faith. We have peace with God because we have been justified by faith in Christ.

The righteous requirement of the law has been fulfilled in us through Christ’s atonement and we are not under condemnation. The body of death is passing away and the Spirit of God has taken residence within us and will also raise our mortal bodies to life. God’s magnificent plan to justify us through the death of Christ has not only saved us from His wrath, it’s also granted us adoption as children of God, fellow heirs with Christ through His suffering and glory.
