Something Must Happen To Our Wills

John 7:14-18

Jesus does not say that we just need to want Him in order to receive Him. He says we must want our whole life to be shaped by the will of God in order to even recognize Him. People cannot see and recognize the truth of Christ's teaching because the prevailing tendency of our will is defiance against the authority of God.

What amazing love the Father has shown to us! What incredible obedience and sacrifice the Lord Jesus gave for us! What a miraculous work of the Spirit of God. He brings us to faith, makes us new, and gives us life forever! New Birth!
