Calling all songwriters, musicians, and lyricists and those who are curious and want to join from the Austin area! United Adoration and Christ Church Austin is inviting you to a very special songwriting retreat designed for you to create, collaborate, and build community with other creators.

Many of us shy away from being called a "creative" or an "artist" but we at United Adoration believe that all of God's people are creatives, and our retreats are for YOU! During the retreat, we will have extended time to create, collaborate with one another, pray together, reflect on scripture, share meals, and worship God in community.

We believe that when we gather to worship and create, the Holy Spirit does deep work in our souls, so we intentionally leave time during the retreat for the Holy Spirit to care for our souls.

Artists, creatives, and those who don't think they are artists but are curious--- all ages and artistic experience levels are welcome.

This retreat is meeting at a church and not a retreat center, so if you are local you will stay at your own home overnight and return in the morning. If you are coming from out of town, you are responsible for your own lodging accommodations. Please bring your own instruments if you are able, laptops, notebooks, writing utensil, and anything you use to create or write with. Our retreat theme will be an exploration of the Psalms. Friday night dinner provided, coffee and snacks Saturday morning, and lunch on your own (but with others!) at restaurants nearby.
