Christians are called to serve. The 'Great Commission' given by Jesus to His followers involves active, ongoing service. Service is not only within the Kingdom, as in one Christian serving and ministering to another, but it also involves an active ministry to those who are outside the body of Christ as well.

Bondservants of the Living God • February 26, 2017 • R. Chip Denief
Most of the writers in the New Testament, including the Apostles, referred to themselves as 'Bondservants' of God. A bondservant was considered the most humble or 'lowest' of the slaves in the 1st Century. Such a description brings great perspective for the Christian as we ought to serve with humility.

Adopted by God • February 12, 2017 • R. Chip Denief
Through Christ, believers are adopted by God into His family. This adoption is a special one because it involves the free will choice of the believer. God responds to our faith as we comply to His terms which are unchanging and clearly spelled out in Scripture.
