With the election only days away, we all are likely feeling nervousness, fear, and perhaps excitement for what the future might bring. Scripture gives a caution though, about placing our faith in political figures instead of the living God. Psalm 146 gives us a warning and a reminder for remaining faithful during seasons of political intensity, reminding us that our trust is only ever secure when placed in him.

Coastline Covenant is a young church in Redondo Beach, CA which launched in 2021. We meet at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian on Sundays at 11:30am. The heartbeat of our congregation is to create joyful and courageous followers of Jesus.
