I want to let you know about a new opportunity for youth and young adults in the CLB. This is an opportunity for young leaders to learn and grow among like-minded students in a way that is often otherwise unavailable.

This fall we will be unveiling THREE COHORT GROUPS

> When: Second week in October / 6-8 weeks (One hour meetings)

> Who: Late high school or early college who are seeking the grow in their faith. (Only 8 students for each cohort, so sign up soon.)

> What: Each cohort will answer one of the faith related question you see below.

Cohort Question 1: How do I talk to others about Jesus?

Leader: Brandon Pangman, Director of North American Mission

Brandon didn’t grow up as a Christian or live around Christians. He came to faith through the message of the gospel being shared with him at a concert. Since that day his life has never been the same and he wants to share what he’s learned with you.

Cohort Question 2: How do I lead others in worship?

Leader: Matt Schweitzer, Pastor at Emmaus Road Church, IA

Matt has led worship at Bethesda in Eau Claire, Wisconsin; Emmaus Road in Dewitt, Iowa; and has been the main worship leader at Elevate Youth Conference for the last 15 years. Matt was trained at Lutheran Brethren seminary and at 10,000 Fathers worship school and has a ton of experience and knowledge to share.

Cohort Question 3: How do I know Jesus better?

Leader: Alan Johnson, Pastor at Regeneration Church, WA

Alan has spent a lot of time thinking about and studying many of the things that we are called to do as followers of Jesus that seem confusing. He wants to walk with each of you as you seek to understand and grow closer in your relationship with Jesus.
