In the transfiguration of Jesus, we catch a glimpse of the glory that has always been His—but now revealed. This moment on the mountain invites us to behold His glory, receive His suffering, and listen to His voice. Like the disciples, we can be so used to the ordinary that we miss the extraordinary presence of Jesus right in front of us. But when the veil is lifted, we see that He alone satisfies the deep longing of our hearts. God confirms that Jesus is the One we’ve been waiting for—the mediator, the fulfillment, the radiance of God’s glory. And the call for us is to follow Him, even through suffering, because in Him, there is true satisfaction.
