"Give It Away Gladly"

2 Corinthians 9:6-15

"Give and it will be given to you"

"Forgive and you will be forgiven"

When Jesus spoke what Charles Dickens has called the greatest short story of all time, "The Return of the Prodigal" the Pharisees were totally bewildered.

They knew all about God but knew nothing of the soul, personal relationships to God or others, and thus forgiveness. The only question for them was whether the Shepherd and the Woman in the first two parables, recoding in Luke 15, were legally holy. All they cared about was the "Law of Moses".

We have just concluded a brief study of the attributes of God. If you committed to memory every word I spoke and purchased for yourself a Theology Book and read it daily and did not apply such truths to your daily relationships all that knowledge would be a waist.

From our text all I ask four questions throughout the message:

Are you Gracious?

Are you Generous?

Are you Grateful?

Are you Forgiving?

Our text will reveal "Five Benefits From Being Totally Devoted"

Love From God

Glory For God

Friends Made

Likeness To God

Generosity From God

This text is often used regarding stewardship of money. Please remember that spiritual stewardship involves much more than money.
